It should have a label with what I did and why. I'd better get this done before I forget what I did!

I am pleased with my playday project.

Weaving is a favorite of mine love to see this work!
I may just try my hand at tatting one of these days. I have one of my grandmother's shuttles. It would be fun to use it, and have a good start on something, then mount/frame the 'in process' piece for using as wall art. I'd like to have a wall of partially done pieces, along with the equipment needed for the process.

I like your weaving ends just as they are; but, beads would be a great add! With the weather being beautiful here, my play dates have been to blooming tulip fields and a greenspace area. In a couple weeks, I'm joining a group of friends to see a Japanese garden.--Terry
Very pretty weaving, Luann. I'm planning a playday today and I'm going to try to make some silk paper vessels. Second in line after that is to do some layering of paint onto a dyed fabric background.

I'm going to take an eco dyeing workshop in June. I swore I'd not be dragged into anything new - especially that - but I gave in! It will be nice to get away for a couple days too and focus just on that.
I'm so happy that everyone is having some play time.
Terry, one of my favorite places to visit is The Anderson Japanesse Gardens in Rockford, Illinois. I have lots of great pictures from there.

Lynda, I also don't want to add another new area, but that's what makes life so interesting. I took a very informal Eco dyeing class many years back. Not sure it qualifies as Eco but, we picked leaves and flower petals, grabbed some old nails, wrapped it all up in a silk scarf. Put it in a Baggie then poured vinegar over it and left it in a very warm place for two weeks before emptying the contents. Stinky, stinky, stinky! But lovely scarves. I'll try to get some pictures up on the blog. I really should try it again down here, the vegetation is so different.
