I chose my own colors for some Tshirts for the grandkids. Each picture gives you a pretty good idea of the splitting, and the dyes that were used.
I hope this helps those of you that had questions.
If you are getting too much white, I suggest to massage your fabrics once all the ice has melted. This tends to move things thru all the layers. And if a few dots of dye annoy you, put your garment in with the front away from the ice. By the time it moves thru the fabric the dots are generally gone.

Thanks for the color samples - most of these colors are new to me! And I agree... putting the shirt face down is leaving dots on the back, but they are not so noticeable as when they are on the front. Happy dyeing!
Wow! The splitting of the dye colors does really leave unique results. I think I would like to try this. . .BUT, I just can't let myself be attracted to new projects. . .as you, know. . .I'm working on my "focus!" Keep tempting me though!
This is so helpful, I am still just doing hit and miss half the time. And thanks for making the labels legible for my old eyes.
