Yesterday I enjoyed time with some stitching friends. This was my first time making a hexie flower, and I can say I enjoyed it enough to know I’ll be making more of these. I have a plan,,,, oh, boy, here we go again..... LOL
These things are addictive. . . .you can't just stop at one! Seriously, they are fun to make and each one is a little different. There are so many ways to set them too! It is a great take along project as once you get it going, not much thought is involved and it is an easy project to pick up after an absence. Enjoy! (I know you will!)
Lynda, I just saw the cutest little needle holder that used the itty bitty hexies as the decoration on it. Someone suggested you could make a little tea bag holder from the same pattern. I’m not sure if I’ll get into the mini size, but having a go at it for the sake of one needle holder might be worth the effort, lol.

Beautiful!
Carolyn,
Thanks, it means a lot from someone with your eye for creating. And it’s so good to see you are still up and about. Have a great day
