I forgot the next picture, it’s of 5 quilt tops, backings, and battings that were dropped off for Royal Family Kids Camp. I think I’ll be doing quite a few for this summer's campers. They said they'll need about 50 this year. Hopefully next year, people will make their tops, etc and get them to me starting in September. But,,, people get busy, and time slips away, so I’ll just do my best and pray that God has some helpers in the wings for me.

Fifty quilts is a lot! Says me who finished seven small wall hangings last year!

Just remember that I’m only longarming these. I am hoping the tops are pressed and backs are straight, lol. I don’t even do the trimming after the are quilted. I leave that for the binding ladies, and then they decide how to handle the ‘trimmings’. It’s one less ‘bag o stuff’ for me to take care of. I’ve gotten a little bit better at my level of involvement. I just wish they would have started giving these to me last September when I first approached them to be the ‘quilter’. Now it becomes more of a crunch time situation. But,,, it’s for showing kids that are in foster care that they have people loving and praying for them.

No such thing as a slacker in my view. We each need to do what is right for us. You have been sharing yourself by teaching others. That’s an incredible way to show love also. AND people who write blog posts, even those of us that are sporadic, give to others at that time.
It’s incredible that I will get 3 notices of one of your blog posts and then all three are put in my spam box a week later,,, what is the matter with my servers? I guess they aren’t into the ‘service’ part of the agreement,,, lol
